[Manage Bing Chat Enterprise for individual users with new admin controls]
At launch, Microsoft 365 admins had the option to turn Bing Chat Enterprise on or off for all users with eligible licenses in their tenant, which made it easier to deploy Bing Chat Enterprise at scale and ensure that all users could use generative AI with built-in commercial data protection. As organizations adopted Bing Chat Enterprise, we received feedback that admins wanted the option for ring-based deployment, a common IT practice that enables you to deploy features to a smaller subset of users and get feedback.
To address this customer request, a Bing Chat Enterprise Service Plan can now choose to roll out Bing Chat Enterprise to a subset of users before deploying across the organization. Once assigned, users signed in with their work or school account (Microsoft Entra ID) can access Bing Chat Enterprise from entry points such as bing.com and the Microsoft Edge sidebar.

아직까지는 Bing Chat Enterprise 액세스 수준에 대해 별도 정책 형태로 관리할 수 있는 메뉴는 확인되지 않는 것으로 보이지만 부족하게나마 관리할 수 있겠네요. 향후 업데이트 될 것으로 예상됩니다.

조직 데이터에 액세스할 수 없습니다.
조직에서 직원들에게 AI 기반 웹 채팅을 계속 도입함에 따라 사용자 및 채팅 데이터가 처리되는 방식을 이해하는 것이 중요합니다. 조직에서 Bing Chat Enterprise를 평가하는 경우 고려해야 할 몇 가지 중요한 사항은 다음과 같습니다.
- Bing Chat Enterprise는 공개 웹의 데이터를 기반으로 하는 생성 AI 서비스입니다. 따라서 문서와 같은 Microsoft 365 내의 조직 리소스나 콘텐츠에 액세스할 수 없습니다.
- 이메일, 회의 또는 Microsoft Teams 메시지와 같은 데이터를 사용자가 명시적으로 입력하거나 채팅에 직접 복사한 조직 데이터에만 액세스할 수 있습니다.
- 사용자가 Microsoft Edge 사이드바에서 Bing Chat Enterprise를 열고 Bing Chat Enterprise에 브라우저에서 열려 있는 문서나 인트라넷 페이지에 액세스할 수 있는 권한을 부여한 경우에만 액세스할 수 있습니다.
- 어느 시나리오에서든, Bing Chat Enterprise는 채팅 세션이 끝난 후 이 데이터를 보관하지 않습니다.
참고로 23.09.13 기준으로 추가 비용 없이 Bing Chat Enterprise 기능을 사용하기 위한 Microsoft 365 구독은 다음과 같습니다.
- Microsoft 365 E3 / E5
- Microsoft 365 A3 / A5
- Microsoft 365 Business Standard
- Microsoft 365 Business Premium
또한 Bing Chat Enterprise는 Microsoft Edge(데스크톱 및 모바일)와 Chrome(데스크톱)에서 지원되며, 다른 브라우저도 곧 지원될 예정이라고 합니다.
테넌트에서 구독 중인 라이선스에서 "Bing_Chat_Enterprise" 서비스 계획을 확인할 수 있습니다.

※ Entra 관리센터에서 그룹 기반의 라이선스 관리를 통하여 "Bing Chat Enterprise" 앱을 제어하는 방향으로 고려할 수 있음
Bing Chat Enterprise에 액세스하면 다음과 같이 화면이 나타나며 일반 Bing chat과는 다르게 전면에 "Bing Chat Enterprise" 문구가 확인되고 채팅 입력 창과 모든 채팅 답변 상단에 "개인 및 회사 데이터는 이 채팅에서 보호됩니다." 라는 문구를 볼 수 있습니다.
